This website was my first glimpse into the world DIY natural hair websites. I remember finding it about 2 years ago and thinking , "Wow, Natural hair is beautiful." And I rocked kinky twists which look like this:
But I hadn't been convinced that I should go natural all the way. The minute I took down my twists, I was forced to learn how to wear transitional styles until I could scrape up the money to get the style redone again. But I was in a location that wasn't exactly booming in the hair industry, so I lasted 3 months before succumbing to the surrounding pressure to relax my hair.
Oh how I wished I'd had the patience to actually maintain the natural hair long enough to transition fully. However, while I was in an awkward stage I turned to this website for tips and tricks and all of them were amazing. I highly suggest supporting motowngirl and visiting her site!
